Airasia to start scheduled flights between Bangkok and Male’ from next month on wards

Civil Aviation Authority of Maldives have stated that Airasia will start operating scheduled flights between Male’ and Bangkok from July onwards.

Civil Aviation Authority said that they have given Thai Airasia the permission to start operating. The permission was given to operate from Donmuan Airport to Velana International Airport once per week.

A 180 seat Airbus A 320 plane will be used by Airasia for this. Thair Airasia is a subsidiary of Airasia a Malaysian budget airline. Even now there are scheduled flights between Kuala Lumpur and Male’ by Airasia.

National airline of Maldives, Maldivian and Bangkok Airways also operates between Bangkok and Male’.
